Welcome!

We are pleased you have taken time out of your busy schedule to review our website.

My name is Timothy T. Johnson and I am the Worshipful
Master of Mt. Everest Lodge No. 1 representing Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Mt. Everest Lodge has again been selected as the State of New Mexico’s Large Lodge of the Year and the Master Mason of the Year for four of the last five years have come out of
this working Lodge.  They are Bro. Wayne Littlejohn (2003), Bro. Tim Johnson (2004), Bro. Jesse Waddles (2005) and Ken Jones (2007).  In the last year we have purchased,
prepared and served over 1400 meals to those less fortunate in the Albuquerque area.  We continue to grow as we have two Entered Apprentices in training, received and
accepted three demits in June and already have three candidates for our next class.  We are allowing the work we do in the community to speak for us.

Albuquerque is a City made up of about 500,000 people and a third of the Masons in this State work and live in the Albuquerque area.  We Prince Hall Masons may be few in
number but we have managed to make a significant impact on the residence of this Southwestern City and this State by getting involved and trying to help people have a more
enriching life.

As you journey through our website much of what we do will become apparent to you but the most important thing we want  to leave with you is that "God has truly blessed us and
we are happy to share his blessings with our fellow man".
